Credits (Pay-as-you-go)
Credits let you use the API without a monthly subscription. Top up a balance, and it’s consumed as you make requests. Credits never expire.
How credits work
Section titled “How credits work”- Top up credits from the Billing page
- A credit key is automatically created for you
- Use that key like any other API key
- The platform tracks spend against your credit balance
- When the balance runs out, top up again
Top-up amounts
Section titled “Top-up amounts”| Amount |
|---|
| $5 |
| $10 |
| $25 |
| $50 |
Pay with card (Stripe) or USDC on Base L2.
Credit key rate limits
Section titled “Credit key rate limits”Credit keys have fixed rate limits:
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| RPM | 60 |
| Budget | Your topped-up balance |
Unlike subscription keys, credit key budgets do not reset — the balance is consumed until depleted, then you top up again.
Multiple top-ups
Section titled “Multiple top-ups”Each top-up increases your credit key’s budget. For example:
- Top up $10 → balance is $10
- Use $3 → balance is $7
- Top up $25 → balance is $32
You keep the same credit key across top-ups.
